Professional and programme accreditation

Accreditation with a defined scope

The association grants accreditation under its criteria and procedures. Each document identifies its scope, beneficiary, reference, validity and status so it can be understood and verified.

Professional accreditation

This is linked to the accredited member level. Approval or renewal triggers the grant or renewal of professional accreditation, with a gold card and a separate certificate under approved conditions. Professional accreditation lasts one year.

Other membership documents confirm membership status and category; they do not themselves confer third-level professional accreditation.

Course or training programme accreditation

A separate application may be made and reviewed. Accreditation, if granted, covers the named programme and its approved duration only, without automatic extension to other programmes or the organiser’s activities.

Meaning and limitations

Accreditation represents an association decision within the scope stated. It is not a government licence and does not replace requirements for practising any profession. A training attendance certificate does not automatically become professional accreditation.
